Reach out to one person
Interactive Exercises · 5 min
A small, low-pressure way to feel less alone
Loneliness tells us nobody wants to hear from us. Usually that isn't true. Start small.
Steps
- Think of one person you used to feel easy with: a cousin, old friend, neighbour or colleague.
- Write a short, simple message. "Thought of you today. How have you been?" is enough.
- Send it, and let go of how fast they reply. Reaching out is the whole task.
- Optional: plan one place this week where you'll be around people, like the masjid, a park or a class.
